[singlepic=28,320,240,,right]Not content with bending the USA to his whimsical will, Ricky Gervais has moved beyond the realm of the former Iron Curtain. It’s true – David Brentski will soon become a star in Russia just as he did in the US and of course the UK before that.

The Russian version of The Office – to be known as Ofis, so I’m informed – is apparently just the latest in a line of British comedies that have been adapted for cabbage and beetroot consumers on the streets of Moscow and St Petersberg.

No, it seems that there is also a version of Little Britain – Nasha Russia – a character called Ivan Dulin, who is… the “only gay in the factory”.
