I like to write a bit about comedy, perhaps contribute to NewsBiscuit.com and perhaps I even fancy myself as a standup...

Currently on a summer break from touring – no doubt to record Mock the Week – Frankie Boyle is a pretty prolific comic, it seems.

Not only does he contribute hugely to Mock the Week, he’s also contributed material to Jimmy Carr, as well as appearing on Have I Got News for You, They Think it’s All Over, Would I Lie to You? and 8 Out of 10 Cats.

His dark views of society and celebrities is a vital cog to the Mock the Week format, where he is in measured contrast to team mate Hugh Dennis and fellow regular Andy Parsons.

Where would the world be, after all, without Frankie’s endless Kerry Katona jokes?

Frankie’s site is apparently gearing up for a redesign, but you can still check the tour dates and sign up to his mailing list.
