I like to write a bit about comedy, perhaps contribute to NewsBiscuit.com and perhaps I even fancy myself as a standup...

No bad thing, but I’ve seen them more than once. Well, I say more than once, more than 10 times in fact.

Actually, more than that.

My point is, Monday’s are god-awful for good British comedy on television or radio at the moment, with the day usually reserved for the genius that is I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue, a show that sadly may not be with us again (wholly understandable given the circumstances).

So - can we have something, inventive, hilarious and new for Monday evenings, please BBC and Channel 4?

No point asking ITV now is there? Unless they start repeating classic TV Burp, they’re fully stretched
