Toby Hadoke in Metro

[singlepic=18,320,240,,right]Mad Doctor Who fan and comedian/humourist Toby Hadoke has high hopes for this play Moths Ate My Doctor Who Scarf, referring to a possible TV version in a recent edition of Metro.

The show took off at the Edinburgh Festival in 2006, and soon moved from being a one man show to one that featured former Doctor Who actors Colin Baker and Louise Jameson on the audio version.

A TV version is long overdue, with Britain’s most enduring drama series a vital element of the patchwork quilt of memories for adults and young children alike, an adaptation of Moths Ate My Doctor Who Scarf for a prime time audience would be a superb moment of comedy and cultural significance.

It might even rival An Evening With Gary Lineker for presenting in a new light our habitual holding of various emblems and personalities as important to our society and culture.

It might be quite funny too.
