Robin Williams at LSE
– November 10, 2008Posted in: News

If there was ever a “secret” gig that I would want to go to outside of the world of music, it would be Robin Williams turning up at the London School of Economics at the weekend.
A lucky 100 LSE students witnessed the comedy legend perform a warm-up routine at The Chuckle Club that was extremely well received, not to mention was greeted with thunderous applause and appreciation.
Just £12 would have got you in on Saturday, as Williams played the warm-up ahead of his Gielgud Theatre shows in aid of The Princes Trust.
“This is a great club. It’s like a classroom with comedy in it.”
